Exploring Buyeo with the Convenient DRT Bus
Have you ever seen the red bus roaming around Buyeo?
A new tourist bus has been launched in Buyeo, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable trip!
In January, I had the chance to experience the pilot operation of the Buyeo tourist DRT bus.
(Official operation is scheduled for March)
DRT stands for Demand Responsive Transit, a flexible bus service that operates based on user requests.
We started our journey from the Buyeo Intercity Bus Terminal.
At the Buyeo Intercity Bus Terminal, you can find information about the ultra-regional tourist buses connecting Cheongju and Gongju, as well as details about the local Buyeo DRT service.
▶ How to call the bus
Simply use the 'Shuckle' app, click on your departure and arrival points, enter the number of passengers, and you're done!
You can also call to request a bus.
We used the Shuckle app to call the bus and it arrived in about 3 minutes!
▶ Fare
You might wonder if calling the bus will be expensive, but it operates at the same fare as regular city buses!
(Fare for adults in Buyeo: 1,500 KRW / Gongju: 1,600 KRW)
