The renovation of Geumchon Hugok Park is complete!

Hello!

Today, I would like to introduce you to the newly transformed Geumchon Hugok Park!

I took a stroll through the park and explored various spaces, including the 'Booknic Plaza' linked to the Central Library, the Flower Garden, the Lawn Plaza, the Barefoot Walking Path, and the Tennis Court.

Geumchon Hugok Park has multiple entrances. I started my walk from the entrance next to the Jeong Tae-jin Memorial Hall.

Next to the entrance, there is a map of the entire park, which helps you plan your route for a more efficient visit!

There are also clear signposts along the way, making it easy for first-time visitors to navigate.

1️⃣ Barefoot Walking Path

The first place I arrived at was the Barefoot Walking Path! Some parts of the existing walking trail are temporarily closed for winter, but they are expected to reopen in March.

The footbath and footwashing facilities are also currently out of service, but they will be great to use once the weather warms up.

2️⃣ Rest Areas & Exercise Facilities

I was impressed to find three rest areas scattered throughout the park!

These rest areas feature various exercise equipment, including:

• Sky Walking
• Rope Pulling
• Side Wave Riding

It's a fantastic place for light exercise!

Many people were using the facilities, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

3️⃣ Lawn Plaza

The expansive Lawn Plaza was also quite impressive! It's perfect for picnics or casual gatherings and provides a great space to relax.

4️⃣ Badminton Court

As you head toward Geumneung Middle School, you'll find the Badminton Court! With four courts available, it's a great space to play with family and friends.

5️⃣ Flower Garden

Next to Geumneung Middle School, you'll find the Flower Garden. It's a peaceful area to sit and enjoy the greenery, making it my personal favorite spot for relaxation!

6️⃣ Booknic Plaza

Finally, I want to introduce the Booknic Plaza located behind the Central Library. This area is great for taking a break while studying or enjoying a light read in a comfortable setting.

The newly renovated Geumchon Hugok Park has transformed into a multifaceted leisure space where you can enjoy walking, exercising, resting, and reading.

Thanks to the installation of Wi-Fi throughout the park and the variety of facilities, it is now more convenient and pleasant to visit.
