‘Picture Book Workshop: Ordinary and Extraordinary’
is an extension of last year's well-received
‘Quirky and Creative’ series, designed to help children understand story structures and express their thoughts and emotions through picture books.
Schedule: July 4th~
Location: Seoul Children's Museum
216 Neungdong-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (within Children's Grand Park)
The exhibition allows children to discover and compose their own stories through the process of making picture books!
Recommended as a great exhibition to visit with kids!
Children will explore their characteristics, memories, relationships, and emotions in various ways, weaving everyday moments into stories.
In the 'Story Material Room', what will you experience?
The exhibition is divided into three main spaces:
1. Story Material Room
2. Picture Book Workshop
3. Picture Book Room
In the 'Story Material Room', children will engage in activities that help them express the stories within their hearts.
Through this process, children visually express their emotions and memories, naturally enhancing their self-awareness.
In the Picture Book Workshop, children will create their own picture books based on chosen themes.
They will have the opportunity to freely read over 100 different picture books, enjoying the stories themselves!
Can guardians participate as well?
This exhibition is not only for children; guardians can observe their child's thoughts and expressions, reminiscing about their own childhood and fostering empathy and communication within the family.
How can you visit the exhibition?
Seoul Children's Museum operates a daily visitor limit to maintain a pleasant viewing environment. Therefore, advance reservations through the website are recommended.
Visiting hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Closed on Mondays)
Admission fee: 4,000 KRW for ages 36 months and older
