What can you see at the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show?

The show opens on May 1st!

This year's event will be held at Seoul Forest and the surrounding area,

lasting for a record 180 days,

covering an area of 710,000 square meters!

This year, 50 companies, organizations, and local governments will participate,

offering a unique experience different from the existing Seoul Forest.

If you visit during the cherry blossom season at Seoul Forest,

you can get a preview of the changing space.

What kind of gardens will be created at the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show?

Let's take a sneak peek at the beautiful donation gardens being established in Seoul Forest.

Garden Highlights:

1. Welcome Garden - The Starting Line of the Forest (Korea Racing Authority)

This symbolic space reinterprets the old 'race finish line' as the 'starting line of the forest,' reflecting the history of Seoul Forest, which was once a racetrack.

2. Elip Garden - Building Relationships and Gardens (Kyeryong Construction)

This garden proposes a 'relationship-centered experience' based on traditional Korean yard culture, where people, nature, and space meet.

3. Pathway to the Forest (Sampyo Industry)

This space expresses the texture of the forest, naturally forming different landscapes according to the flow of water, light, and wind.

4. K-B Garden (KB Securities)

Designed to evoke joy and imagination, this experiential garden embodies the message "Let happiness grow!".

5. Resting Line (Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation)

This garden modernly reinterprets the eco-friendly structure of traditional Hanok, creating a 'connected resting space' that divides but does not isolate.

6. 30.5m Horizon (Gyeonggi Province)

This practical garden transforms into various structures like benches and recliners based on terrain changes, providing multiple ways to stay.

7. Time Forest, Ulsan (Ulsan City)

This garden symbolically represents the accumulated time of Ulsan, where nature and industry coexist, above the water space of Seoul Forest.

8. Elysian Forest (GS Construction)

This garden preserves existing trees and is inspired by the Jeju Gotjawal forest, offering a nature-centered healing space.

9. SILO Garden (Daewoo Construction)

This garden is designed to focus inward, allowing one to escape external noise and concentrate on oneself.

10. Star Friends Garden - Witch's Garden: Finding Hidden Magic (KB Kookmin Bank)

This experiential garden is designed for children to explore nature through magical plants and stories.

When is the best time to visit the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show?

The 50 donation gardens included in the show are currently under final construction, aiming for completion by the end of April.

After the final inspections and preparations, the gardens will be fully unveiled to the public on May 1st.

Now is a great time to see the cherry blossoms at Seoul Forest and witness the ongoing changes.
