The Seoul Baekje Children's Museum, in collaboration with the Soma Museum, is operating an experiential educational program called Baekje Creative Lab, connecting history and art.
This program allows infants, children, and their caregivers to participate together in pottery-making and drawing activities, creating a fusion of museum education.

A unique museum education program is starting at the Seoul Baekje Children's Museum located in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
What is the Baekje Creative Lab?
The Seoul Baekje Children's Museum, affiliated with the Hanseong Baekje Museum, operates this cultural cooperation educational program as part of the Museum Huhuh Program.
It is designed as an experiential education program where history and art can be experienced together.
Through organic collaboration with other museums and galleries, the aim is to provide high-quality, specialized fusion museum education for infants, children, and their caregivers.
Additionally, this program is linked to the Seoul City’s Birth Support Seoul Project, focusing on education based on history and culture, and aims for family-centered learning where caregivers can relax and enjoy alongside their children.
What kind of place is the Seoul Baekje Children's Museum?
The Seoul Baekje Children's Museum is the first specialized Baekje history museum for children in South Korea, serving as a 'history playground' where children can joyfully learn about history and culture through various experiential programs.
How is the Baekje Creative Lab operated, and who can participate?
Operated in collaboration between the Seoul Baekje Children's Museum and the Soma Museum, this program utilizes artifacts and representative content from both institutions to conduct aesthetic experiential activities focused on sensory observation and expression.
Participants will examine the shapes and patterns of ancient pottery, followed by creating miniature pottery and drawing activities to express the artifacts in their own unique ways.
Operating Dates: January 17 and 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Who can participate? Any caregiver interested in museum and art education can join without needing to prepare any materials.
