The Seoul City has transformed the existing senior cinema 'Youth Theater' into a cultural space called 'Anyone's Youth Stage', focused on participation and experience.

This space will be operated as a free trial!

During winter, don't you think a cultural and relaxation space for seniors is needed?

The 'Youth Theater', which has been loved as a cinema exclusively for seniors, has now been transformed into a unique space that allows participation, experience, and interaction.

'Anyone's Youth Stage' is a cultural relaxation space where seniors can enjoy both movie screenings and participatory programs together.

This space has been expanded from a cinema where seniors enjoyed films and performances at low costs, to an open cultural space that allows for participation, experience, and interaction.

Who can use it, and when?

Eligibility: Anyone aged 55 and above.

Location: Jung-gu Cultural Daily Hall (22 Saemunan-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul)

Trial Operation Period: January 26, 2026 (Monday) to February 27, 2026 (Thursday)

Usage Fee: All programs are free during the trial operation period!

What programs can you enjoy?

During the trial operation period, all programs are provided for free and are divided into two main categories.

Morning (10 AM - 12 PM) - Participatory Programs: Programs like Nanta (Korean traditional percussion), singing classes, and senior dance that enhance physical, emotional, and social vitality.

Afternoon (2 PM onwards) - Movies and Performances: Various domestic and international films will be screened through the classic film theater.

On Fridays, there will be an improvised performance called 'Your Story' where audience stories are acted out. On January 31 (Saturday), a special performance of 'Trot Parade' is also planned!

Why is there a trial operation?

This trial operation serves as a winter relaxation space for seniors while preparing for the official operation in March. It aims to understand the cultural demands of seniors and assess the program structure and operation methods.

Based on the results and satisfaction from the trial operation, detailed operational plans, including program composition and fee policies, will be established for the official operation.

While it's easy to stay indoors during the cold weather, sometimes we need time to uplift our mind and body!

'Anyone's Youth Stage' is a place where seniors can fulfill their leisure, experiences, and interactions all in one space.
