If you're looking for a truly unique autumn experience this year, I highly recommend Nijimori Studio's Akimatsuri (Autumn Festival) in Dongducheon, Gyeonggi Province!

It's only open for three weeks, from October 18th to November 9th, 2025, and the highlight is that it perfectly captures the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese autumn festival.

The program lineup is incredible, from food to fireworks!

When it comes to festivals, food is the first thing you need to check out!

There will be plenty of yatai (food stall) cuisine available, so you can enjoy authentic Japanese festival dishes like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakitori.
