Majang Lake Water Sports

Majang Lake Water Sports reopened in April!

What's new this year?

With the arrival of spring at Majang Lake, I couldn't wait to visit!

Starting April 1, 2026, Majang Lake Water Sports has finally resumed operations.

I'm excited to share my firsthand experience and the charm of Majang Lake that you must visit this spring!

While many know Majang Lake for its famous suspension bridge, the true allure lies in the leisurely water activities on the lake.

This year, we have introduced two new King Canoes!

Previously, we operated with 10 canoes and 4 kayaks.

This season, Majang Lake has not only reopened but has also carefully prepared to accommodate more visitors.

The introduction of the 'King Canoe' allows seniors and those with mobility challenges to enjoy safely and comfortably.

This commitment to 'barrier-free tourism' is truly touching, making Majang Lake accessible to everyone.

Many may have hesitated to try kayaking or canoeing due to concerns about balance.

The King Canoe is large and stable, ensuring everyone can safely enjoy the lake, reflecting Majang Lake's warm transformation into an 'open tourist destination.'

Operating hours and usage guidelines (check this out!):

• Reopening date: April 1, 2026

• Operating hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 - 17:30

• Closed: Every Monday

Tips for use:

Canoe & Kayak: You can purchase tickets directly at the site.

King Canoe: Operates three times a day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

* Operating times: 10:00 - 11:00 / 14:00 - 15:00 / 16:00 - 17:00

* Reservations through Naver are required.

My kayaking experience (featuring the essence of relaxation):

I chose to kayak this time, paddling out into the lake.

The view from the lake was completely different from what I saw from the walking path.

When I stopped in the middle of the lake and looked at the mountains, I saw the newly sprouted green leaves and shy mountain cherry blossoms blooming like a watercolor painting.

Every time the cool breeze brushed my cheeks, I felt spring had truly arrived.

Have you ever looked up at the suspension bridge from below?

Using water activities allows for the thrilling experience of passing under the bridge, offering a different grandeur than viewing it from above.

As I paddled along the shadows of the bridge reflected in the water, I lost track of time!

I even took a moment to stop paddling and immerse myself in the tranquility, enjoying the gentle sounds of water and occasional bird calls.

This is true healing.

I hope you all get to experience the feeling of being alone with nature, leaving behind complex thoughts!

Majang Lake is now blooming with fresh green buds and flowers, making it a perfect time to visit.

Under the warm sunlight, enjoy water activities on the King Canoe with your loved ones!

Break free from winter and rediscover the vitality of Majang Lake!

This weekend, why not hold hands with your loved ones and experience the spring at Majang Lake?

Especially in April, Majang Lake offers different scenery every day, so visit soon and enjoy this beautiful season!
