Today, I'd like to introduce Paju Book City, a great place for an autumn stroll!

Paju Book City is a national cultural industrial complex located in Munbal-dong, Paju.✨

With the aim of modernizing the publishing distribution structure, it brings together the entire process from publishing planning and editing to printing, logistics, and distribution.

It is an eco-friendly cultural space where you can experience the development of Korea's publishing culture industry while breathing in nature.

Enjoy the departing autumn by taking a stroll through the Paju Book City, including courses such as the Book City Rest Area, Jikji-gil Ddukbang-gil Maple Forest, Bookullim-gil, Book City Neighborhood Park, Asia Publication Culture Information Center, Forest of Wisdom, Beomwoo Bamboo Garden, and Gwanginsa-gil.

To visit Paju Book City, I first visited the Book City Rest Area.

Coming from the Jayuro urban expressway, which connects the northern end of Gayang Bridge to the Munsan Jayu Interchange, it takes about 15 minutes (23km) to reach the Paju Book City Rest Area.

The rest area, which serves as a nap stop while driving, is an essential place for safe rest and recharging!

The autumn foliage in the Book City Rest Area Park was truly beautiful.????

The Paju Book City Rest Area is located at the entrance of the Paju Book City, making it easily accessible.

In particular, it is connected to the Pyeonghwa Nuri Bike Path, making it a comfortable rest area not only for car users but also for cyclists.

Jikji-gil, a general road that connects directly from the rest area.

There are many maple trees on the small embankment dirt path next to it, making it a great place to enjoy autumn.????

If you follow this road, you can access Book City Hoedong-gil, Gwanginsa-gil, and Neighborhood Park.

Bookullim-gil is recommended for those who want a walking course where you can be with nature in Paju Book City.

It is a 6.5km course that connects from the entrance of the first phase to the second phase of Book City, and is a walking path unfolded in harmony with buildings, reeds, and streams.

The starting point is the entrance to Bookullim-gil, which is on the right side of the SM Design Group building at the entrance of Jikji-gil.

It is easy to find as it is located 400-500m from the rest area, and it is a great place to take a quiet walk because it is not well known to people.

Next, I visited the Paju Book City Neighborhood Park.

It is a park in Paju Book City, the center of publishing and culture, and is a space where nature and culture harmonize. It has a large lawn and forest trails that provide rest and leisure for visitors.

✔In particular, there is an observation deck installed in the neighborhood park to observe winter migratory birds, and ✔it is close to the Paju Lotte Premium Outlet, making it great for shopping.

You can also see the sunset from the neighborhood park, so it is also a popular place for evening walks.

If you come to Paju Book City, you should also visit the Asia Publication Culture Information Center, the venue for the annual book festival.

This place, which is the heart of Book City, is a complex cultural space (Forest of Wisdom, Guesthouse Jijihyang) that provides information, research, education, and cultural events related to publishing culture.

The Forest of Wisdom, which is open to everyone for free, is divided into three large and wide spaces when you open the entrance door, and large 8m high bookshelves continue.

It is a space with 130,000 books, and there is also a cafe inside, so you can read books and enjoy a comfortable time.

There is also a section that connects directly to the walking path from the Book City Asia Information Center.

The outdoor cultural space in the concept of a terrace located on the outer wall of the Noeul-ui Ru Center building is the most beautiful place to view the scenery of the reed stream at sunset.

It is directly connected to the walking path, so it is popular as a natural open passage.????

If you go straight from the Forest of Wisdom's Noeul-ui Ru Terrace, you will find the Kim Sowol Poetry Bridge Love Bridge, which was created to empathize with the literature and romance of the late poet Jeong.

It is connected to Bookullim-gil and continues to the bamboo forest path after passing the Paju Book City Eungchil Bridge.

Beomwoo Jukrimwon is in the Beomwoo Temple area.

It is a short course consisting of a bamboo forest that is green in all four seasons, but it is a small forest path made of the only bamboo you can find in Book City.

The Beomwoo Jukrimwon sign written in Chinese characters is stylishly located.

For the last course of the autumn trip to Paju Book City, I visited Gwanginsa-gil, a book street where you want to walk.

It was named to commemorate Gwanginsa, Korea's first modern private printing house founded in 1884, and the autumn foliage is beautifully colored.

This is a one-way street, so it's good to use a car, but you can see the beautiful nature even closer on the walking path.

There are also book cafe buildings of publishing companies that I often saw, such as Kyobo Bookstore, Darakwon, and Kim Youngsa, so you can also visit the bookstore if you have free time.
