DJing Adventures and Updates
It's been a while since I last posted on my blog.
For some time, I lost motivation to write because my Naver blog was filled with generic AI-generated content. However, I decided to push through and share my recent updates.
After DJing in Moscow, Russia, in May, I had visitors from Russia come to Korea in August. They organized a party for me and joined my domestic DJing schedule.
Coincidentally, it was the birthday of one of the twin sisters among my guests, so I celebrated by DJing at Itaewon Waikiki Utopia and even set up a birthday celebration screen.
The following Friday, I played House music at Arzu in Cheongdam, and on Saturday, I joined a Techno session at Itaewon Spot. Until then, those clubs were featuring Techno and House music.
During their month-long stay in Korea, we discussed future plans and my upcoming Russia tour and festival, but unfortunately, due to the escalating war and the distant prospect of peace, all plans have been postponed to next year.
I originally intended to do another Russia DJing tour around September or October like last year, but sadly, I will have to wait until next year.
Nonetheless, I have been consistently active domestically, primarily in Itaewon.
Until the end of October, I regularly DJed as a guest at the Hiphop club, Itaewon Spot, and occasionally played House music at Arzu.
One week before Halloween, I cosplayed as Sabo from One Piece at a themed party and DJed at Itaewon Waikiki Utopia. However, due to the aftermath of the Itaewon tragedy, street control was severe, making it a rather gloomy Halloween.
After Halloween, I shifted my activities from Itaewon to Hongdae and am now DJing occasionally at Hongdae Razer. It's actually more convenient for me since I live closer to Hongdae!
Recently, on November 28, I played music for the first time at the newly transformed Hiphop/Pop/All Kind club, and it was lively with many attendees until late at night!
My set was from 2:40 AM to 4:00 AM, and it was a fulfilling experience to see the club packed and receive positive messages on Instagram about the music.
As I write this post, I am preparing to DJ at Hongdae Razer at 2 AM. I was worried about the heavy rain earlier today, but now it's stopped, and the forecast looks clear, so I’m feeling optimistic about tonight.
Moving forward, I will continue to stay motivated and actively post updates!
