Christmas Festival at Gyeyang Ara-on

I visited the Christmas Festival at Gyeyang Ara-on located on the Incheon Ara Waterway.
Although it looks prettier at night, I went during the day since it was my baby's nap time.
While not very large, the Christmas photo zones are well arranged and truly beautiful, making it a great spot for a light drive.
There is ample parking available at Gyeyang Ara-on.
The first 30 minutes cost 400 won, and after that, it’s 200 won for every 15 minutes. The all-day parking fee is 4,000 won.
Since we just took a few photos, we only spent 400 won on parking.
Upon exiting the parking lot, there is a small restroom located right across from the photo zone.
In addition to the Christmas photo zones, there are well-maintained walking paths, and the night view is especially lovely, so for those who want to take their time, it’s worth considering.
We parked and headed straight to the photo zone decorated with a Christmas tree.
Although it’s not huge, there are various spots for taking pictures, and 30 minutes flew by.
We visited between 4 and 5 PM, and there were a few others taking photos. It gets busier in the evening.
It was beautiful even during the day, and I'm curious to see how it looks when all the lights are on at night, so I think I'll come back soon.
The 10-meter tall tree was impressive, and there were several photo spots in front of it.
The tree was elegantly decorated, resembling snow settling on it.
I wanted to stay longer, but it was cold and windy, so I couldn’t stay with the baby for too long.
For those visiting with babies, there are many cafes nearby along the Ara Waterway, so I recommend taking a few photos here and then heading to a cafe to relax.
We quickly took a few pictures and then moved on to a cafe.
I think it would be even more atmospheric if it snowed on the day we visited.
There was also a cute photo zone with adorable dolls surrounded by poinsettias, which was really charming.
The area was brightly decorated, and my baby enjoyed walking around.
While there weren’t any significant hazards, it’s important to keep an eye on kids to ensure they don’t go into the tree enclosure.
We also took a photo sitting on a red train.
I originally wanted to take a picture next to Santa, but my child suddenly refused to stand, so we took it while sitting on the train.
There was also a photo zone in front of the giant tree, and I think it would have been better if I had taken the picture in 9:16 format.
I was in such a rush to snap the picture that I didn't have time to adjust the camera settings.
For those living in nearby areas like Incheon, Geomam, Geomdan, Gimpo, and Cheongna, I recommend stopping by during a drive.
We only saw the Christmas photo zone, but if you have the time, seeing the night view at Gyeyang Ara-on would be much better.
Since my baby is moving around a lot, we decided not to set up a tree at home, but I was delighted to find such a beautiful place nearby, which really brought the year-end atmosphere.
I recommend visiting the Christmas photo zone at Gyeyang Ara-on to take beautiful photos and then enjoying brunch at a nearby cafe this weekend.
