Chilgok Cultural City Concert: A Night of Harmony and Community

Hello, this is the Chilgok Culture & Tourism Foundation!
On the evening of November 5th, the 'Chilgok Cultural City Concert' unfolded at the Hyangsa Art Center, filled with heartwarming melodies.
It was a time to revive the stories of the Cultural City that blossomed throughout Chilgok this year through music.
This meaningful stage was created together by participants of the Cultural City programs and local residents.
The 'Chilgok Cultural City Concert' was a performance hosted by the Cultural City Project Division of the Chilgok Culture & Tourism Foundation.
It was prepared to express gratitude to those who participated in the Cultural City programs throughout the year and shared various humanistic experiences.
Initially, it was scheduled to be held in the courtyard of the Hyangsa Art Center, but due to the chilly weather, the venue was changed to the inside of the performance hall.
The performance proceeded in a cozier and more focused atmosphere.
Part 1 featured the string ensemble 'The Soo', who opened the concert with familiar melodies from movie soundtracks and drama OSTs.
Familiar tunes such as 'Flying Through the Deep Night', 'Merry-Go-Round of Life', and 'A Town with an Ocean View' captivated the audience.
Part 2 featured the Korean traditional music band Narit, who harmoniously blended traditional music with modern sensibilities, delivering a deep resonance.
Their energetic performance, featuring Korean folk songs, received great response from the audience.
In the final Part 3, the Song Mihae Band continued the excitement of the concert with an emotional performance that crossed between jazz and pop.
The audience couldn't help but move to the cheerful rhythms of songs like 'L.O.V.E', 'Isn’t She Lovely', and 'Uptown Funk'.
This 'Chilgok Cultural City Concert' was a place to share the fruits of the Cultural City project that took place throughout the year, and a stage for communication created together by local residents and artists.
The journey of the Cultural City, revisited through music, contained the unique warmth of Chilgok, where 'people, space, stories, and art' harmonized.
It is hoped that these beautiful melodies that bloomed at the Hyangsa Art Center this winter will continue to resonate throughout Chilgok in the future.
