Exploring the DMZ Through the Senses
Hello, this is Paju Alimi!
I would like to introduce the exhibition titled
[Beyond the Border: The Green DMZ] currently held at the Paju Munseon Library.
The exhibition is available on the first floor of the Paju Munseon Library,
where it explores the coexistence of people and nature in the border area through audiovisual media, documenting the ecology of the DMZ.
Additionally, there is a related ecological photography exhibition titled [Life of the Border] and a collection named [DMZ: At the Green Border] running concurrently.

Weekdays 09:00 - 22:00 / Weekends 09:00 - 18:00

The exhibition records the ecology of the Paju DMZ through audiovisual media,
exploring the coexistence of people and nature in the border area.
This exhibition captures the essence of the DMZ through videos and photographs,
allowing visitors to reflect on the green beyond the border and the echoes of nature.
The DMZ is a place of daily life for some, while for others, it remains a land of boundaries.
Nature has been worn down over time by human footsteps.
The exhibition also features voices from the local community, as well as the sounds of the environment from six different regions.
Visitors can find a space to express their thoughts through postcards with the theme [The Green I Encountered].
Additionally, there is an exhibition titled [Binding Peace, Unraveling Hearts] featuring six books that convey stories of peace.
This exhibition aims to engage audiences of all ages through interactive storytelling.
