I visited the Subongsan Festival held today, October 18th, at the waterfall square in Subong Park, a memorable place in Incheon.

Set against the backdrop of a clear autumn sky and the refreshing waterfall, the festival offered a day where nature and culture blended seamlessly in the heart of the city. Let me share my experience!

Subongsan Festival: Basic Information

Address: 84, Subongan-gil, Michuhol-gu, Incheon (Around Subong Park Waterfall Square)

Dates: October 18-19, 2025 (Saturday-Sunday) / 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Parking:

Available at the public parking lot at the entrance of Subong Park.

Limited parking may be available on nearby streets, but public transportation is recommended during peak hours.

Approximately a 10-minute walk from Subong Park Station (Incheon Subway Line 1).

Since the festival started at 3 PM, we arrived before 2 PM and managed to park on a nearby main street.

I focused mainly on the children's activities, so we arrived early and left early. However, there was a diverse lineup of performances.

Starting with an opening performance by local artists, the first day featured Baek Z Young and the Yuk Joong Wan Band. The last day included the Incheon Michuhol-gu Citizen Song Festival, along with performances by Jang Min-ho and Gyeongseo. The cool autumn nights are sure to be heated up!

The waterfall lighting in the evening will create an even more romantic and wonderful atmosphere.

When we arrived, a rehearsal performance was in full swing.

The lively music from the band practicing on stage harmonized with the sound of the waterfall, allowing us to experience the festival atmosphere in advance.

At the information booth, they were handing out Haneulsu water, so we each took a bottle and enjoyed a cool drink while looking around.

Next to the stage, there was the Subong Library, so we stopped by with our child.

It was also a little chilly, so we went inside to warm up.

One downside of the Subongsan Festival was the lack of food options.

With only three food trucks visible in the photos, it was a bit disappointing for someone who goes to festivals to eat.

If you plan to stay for a long time, it might be a good idea to pack a lunch.

The children were most excited when Spider-Man and Iron Man appeared.

They came over to greet us and took photos, putting smiles on the children's faces.

The Subongsan Festival is a local festival designed for local residents and families, with a variety of activities for children and adults alike.

Also, the best thing was that all the activities were free! We enjoyed free experiences such as watercolor painting, acrylic light making, and traditional pattern jewelry box making.

The Subongsan Festival, with its nature, music, and activities, was the perfect urban healing festival to spend a relaxing autumn weekend.

Again, it was great that it was free, and the high-quality experiences fill up early, so you need to be quick to avoid long waits!
