A First Stage for Aspiring Young Artists
The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture has launched the 2026 Seoul Connect Stage to support artists about to graduate.
This initiative focuses on theater, dance, and traditional arts, offering a meaningful stage beyond the classroom.

2026 Seoul Connect Stage Schedule Overview
The first stage presentations will take place from January 26 to February 13.
The program spans multiple venues across Seoul, each tailored to different artistic fields.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will be held on January 26 from 14:00 to 15:30.
The venue is Seoul Theater Center, Seoul Theater 202.
Theater, Dance, and Traditional Arts Stages
The theater field performances run from January 29 to February 13 at Seoul Theater Center.
The dance field takes place on February 7 and 8 at the Seoul Arts Education Center in Eunpyeong.
The traditional arts field is scheduled for February 6 and 7 at the Seoul Arts Education Center in Gangbuk.
Who Takes the Stage
A total of 27 teams, consisting of 169 aspiring young artists, were selected through last November’s open call.
These teams will present original works across theater, dance, and traditional performance genres.
The stage reflects the diversity and creative energy of artists preparing to enter the professional field.
Comprehensive Support Beyond the Performance
Selected teams receive performance fees of up to five million KRW.
In addition, the program offers venue support, promotional assistance, networking opportunities, and expert reviews.
