Sweet Treats at Shinsegae Gangnam: A Pop-Up Review of 'Teuat' Dessert Cafe
I recently visited Sweet Park at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam!
I heard that 'Teuat,' a famous dessert spot from Migeum Station, was holding a pop-up event.
Although 'Teuat,' the pop-up cafe I visited, is introduced as a dessert cafe, it's actually a specialty shop for petite cakes made with seasonal fruits.
I often stopped by this place in Migeum whenever I craved dessert cakes!
I felt so proud to see this local favorite making its way to Shinsegae Gangnam. ^^
I've been following Teuat on Instagram because I love their cafe, and that's how I heard about their pop-up at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam's Sweet Park! :)
(This is why I can't quit Instagram... haha)
Teuat Pop-Up Dates & Location
The pop-up period for the Teuat dessert cafe is from October 17th to 23rd, 2025!
(I procrastinated writing this post, so I'm rushing to get it done two days before the pop-up ends. T_T)
The location is on B1 floor of Shinsegae Gangnam, in front of the Five Guys store. It was quite difficult for me to find, as I'm directionally challenged.
(Tip for finding the pop-up location!!
????Based on Starbucks Central F1, take the escalator to B1 and Sweet Park is immediately to your left!)
(There were many other fancy fruit cake cafes around~ But out of loyalty to my local favorite (?????!), I didn't look anywhere else and picked out Teuat cakes!????)
Teuat Pop-Up Review
I hurriedly went once on the first day, and then again today since I had business in Gangnam! So, I visited twice!
They have strawberry cakes, which are hard to find now that it's not strawberry season!!!!
(+ Today, they added Strawberry & Mango petite cakes!!)
According to the owner, they're not even selling strawberry cakes at the Migeum main store right now, but they made them for the pop-up event~
(They had a hard time sourcing delicious strawberries. T_T)
Their main items seemed to be the Yeongam Fig Banana Cake, made with seasonal autumn figs, and the Berry Chestnut Cake!
It seemed like a rare combination that is difficult to find in other pop-ups.
I think Fig cakes are often found in the surrounding area, since it's Autumn
But you hardly ever find cakes with the combination of banana and fig!!!!!
And the Berry Chestnut Cake!
Isn't it really unique? (Actually, I first encountered a chestnut combination cake at Teuat in Migeum???? haha. Have dessert lovers seen it often? haha)
So, if you want to give a cake gift that is not common and unusual!! Then ????Yeongam Fig Banana Cake or ????Berry Chestnut Cake would be a good choice~
And if you buy 4 petite cakes like the photo above, they'll package them as a set!
If a whole cake is too much, I thought it would be great to buy one of each flavor as a gift~
Teuat - Cake Varieties
It seems like the combinations change slightly every day?
For now, I'll list all the cake varieties that were available when I visited on the first day and today (October 21st).
????Strawberry - The king of cakes! If you don't want to fail, go with strawberry????
????Mango - If you're craving a sweet and tangy dessert????
(You know the taste of mango???? But doesn't it feel softer when you eat it as a cake?)
????Mango Strawberry (new) - This is a guaranteed win combination???????? (It wasn't there last week, so it must be new!)
????Shine Muscat - Even as a cake, it's a refreshing fruit????
(It's not as sour as I thought, and it's sweet and tangy, so it's good for dessert after a meal.)
????Yeongam Fig Banana - A combination of seasonal fig and the healthy sweetness of banana (I liked that it wasn't too sweet!)????????
????Berry Chestnut - It had berry jam in the middle?! The nutty taste of chestnut + the sweetness of berries! It's a fresh combination????????
I didn't try all of them this time, but I added a brief taste review based on my memories of when Teuat was in Migeum.
(I found the concept of seasonal fruits interesting, so I visited once every season. It's already been over a year since I started going to this regular spot, Teuat, a Migeum dessert restaurant????)

(I recommend one of each color, e.g. Mango + Shine Muscat + Strawberry + Fig! It looks pretty and is great as a gift)

+ Nowadays, the prices of milk, eggs, and everything else have gone up, so cakes are definitely not cheap....!?
