I definitely have a sweet tooth!

Today's review is about a dessert-filled date in Seongsu-dong.

We started by grabbing some meat at Seongsu Ppyeotan House.

Afterward, we checked out an exhibition I'd been wanting to see.

Hopeful Tomorrow

Our next stop was the new ept flagship store in Seongsu-dong. I saw on another blog that they were having a pop-up event with a lucky draw for free clothes and 50% off coupons. We just took a quick look around!

Then it was time for Meita Wang Egg Tart! A coworker recommended it to me. It's next to Hanjungseon, so it feels a little hidden, but it was still crowded. They actually have two locations in Seongsu-dong.

Touching Scene

The conclusion? JMT (존맛탱 - Korean slang for 'delicious'). It's so big that it's a little rich to eat all by yourself. But the sprinkle of salt balances the sweetness perfectly. It's the kind of taste that makes you crave coffee immediately.

Coke-ssi (my date), who doesn't like sweet things, just watched me from the side. It's so funny how he only likes his coffee sweet. It has a thick crust.

Mysterious Appearance

Next up: I'm Donut! This Japanese donut brand just landed in Seongsu-dong. My boyfriend knew about it and wanted to check it out. He must like donuts. We even got a cute freebie.

It was around 4 PM, I think, and they only had Raspberry Cream and Fruit Custard left. Everything seems to thrive in Seongsu-dong! I only bought one. We chose the Fruit Custard. It's not too sweet, and the cream is nice and soft.

Happy Time

We also stopped by KITH Seongsu while we were walking around. They were using an entire building, and it was decorated with great style and taste.

Amazing sight

So pretty! I thought it would look great on Coke-ssi. He said he didn't like it, but the baby size was so cute...

Finally, we watched the Chainsaw Man - Reze Arc.

To be honest, I didn't know much about Chainsaw Man, but I binged it three months before the theatrical release.

Watching it as a series, the subject matter and development were unique and fun. But personally, it didn't move me as much as Attack on Titan. It felt scattered and unpredictable, so it's a series that people either love or hate.

Valuable experience

But the Reze arc had a perfect beginning, middle, and end, and the animation was absolutely beautiful...

Reze's ending song, JANE DOE by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada, was amazing. The pop sound is contrasting with the story line, capturing the themes of the film perfectly... Korea is a country of geniuses.

Precious memory

I really liked this edit.

Always teasing when I catch him at something.

We took a walk until dinner and then had some late-night noodles at Gil-dong Udon near Hanjungseon before heading home.

Bright future

Gil-dong Udon's fresh noodle udon is seriously delicious. I don't usually like udon, but this is spicy and has a deep flavor like my mom makes at home.

Dreamlike moment

I recommend it.
