Sojindam Cheongna: A Dessert Paradise by the Cheongna Canalway
Located along the Cheongna Canalway in Incheon, Sojindam Cheongna (지젤엠 카페 소진담 청라점) is a dessert haven known for its delicious handmade cakes and cookies, all freshly made in-house.
The cafe boasts a clean and spacious interior, offering a wide variety of beverages, including shaved ice desserts (bingsoo), along with their signature handmade cakes and cookies. It's so popular that it's often packed!
They change their cake selection according to the season, using fresh seasonal fruits. They also regularly release new seasonal drinks and bingsoo flavors, so there's always something new and delicious to try. That's why I visit often!
Sojindam Cheongna, a well-known spot in Cheongna G-The Mall, is connected to Cheongna Canalway Park, making it the perfect place to stop by before or after a stroll. Its white exterior is easily noticeable.

You can find Sojindam Cheongna on the B1 floor of Cheongna G-The Mall. The mall is connected to Cheongna Canalway Park on the B1 floor, making it easily accessible during a walk along the canal.
'Sojindam,' meaning 'to hold white treasures,' is a Cheongna dessert restaurant where you can taste premium handmade cakes that utilize the most Korean and familiar seasonal ingredients. In the summer, their mango bingsoo and grapefruit bingsoo topped with plenty of fruit are also very popular.
Modern Interior with a White Base
Upon entering the store from Cheongna Canalway, you'll see a large open kitchen and counter. I visited slightly after lunchtime, and the store quickly filled up, proving its popularity as a Cheongna cake destination.
The interior is primarily white, with white tables and chairs, creating a modern and clean atmosphere. The interior, which could be dull, is decorated with bright rail lighting and tall plants to give it a softer feel.

The menu includes a variety of coffee options such as Americano (₩5,000), Cafe Latte (₩5,500), and Vanilla Bean Latte (₩6,000). Their signature Cream Latte is available in four flavors: milk, milk tea, matcha, and chocolate (₩7,500).

Freshly Baked Cookies
They offer a diverse selection of cookies, including Red Velvet Cream Cheese, Strawberry Crumble, Oreo Cream Cheese, Lemon Earl Grey, Black Sesame Cream Cheese, and Plain Cookies, all perfect to enjoy with coffee or other beverages.
The cookies are neatly displayed in a glass showcase, boasting a satisfyingly thick size.
Cake Obsession at Sojindam Cheongna
You can taste a variety of fruit cakes using seasonal fruits, as well as Sojindam's unique cakes. Earl Grey Cheese, Tiramisu, Ferrero Rocher, Real Oreo, Lemon, Victoria, Matilda Chocolate, Pig Bar, Black Sesame Injeolmi, Carrot Carrot, Red Velvet, Red Bean Mugwort, and Sweet Pumpkin are some of the handmade cakes that bring out the flavors of the ingredients.
As someone who loves Yakgwa, I really want to try the Yakgwa cake. My birthday is in a few days, so I'm going to ask my husband to buy it for me.
The cake display case showcases a variety of sliced cakes, allowing you to order the cake you want. They sell sliced cakes that are made directly at the store in size #3.
Each cake in the refrigerated showcase is covered, so you can enjoy it in the most delicious condition without drying out.
Order a Delicious Whole Cake for Any Day
You can order whole cakes at Sojindam by reservation and can pick them up from 11 AM to 9 PM. It comes with one basic candle and a cake knife. Size #1 (15-17cm) costs between ₩35,000 and ₩45,000, and Size #3 (21-23cm) costs between ₩60,000 and ₩67,000.
Whole cake orders are available at Sojindam Cheongna. Cakes for pickup are beautifully displayed in a transparent box.

Today's Americano Set (O.A. Set) ₩16,000
Sojindam Cheongna's event menu, Today's Americano Set, which runs only on weekdays from 12 PM to 3 PM, includes two Americanos and one Today's Cake for ₩16,000. You can enjoy Sojindam's handmade cakes and coffee at a great price, depending on the daily changing cake.
Today's cake was Tiramisu and Grapefruit Fresh Cream Cake, and since I was planning to order Grapefruit Fresh Cream Cake, I ordered the O.A. set. I noticed that you can also change the drink to a latte.
I ordered one hot Americano and one iced Americano. Although iced Americano is delicious in the summer, I think hot Americano goes well with a sweet cake. The hot Americano, which comes in a large coffee cup, has a nutty flavor and a good body and is not bitter, so I enjoyed it.
Grapefruit fresh cream, made with fresh grapefruit in fresh cream, allows you to fully feel the bittersweet taste of grapefruit. The bread and sandwich are well-made, so I enjoyed every bite.
Sliced Cake for the Kids
The Sojindam sliced cake was packaged in a lovely pink box! The Fig is Shy is based on a mugwort-infused cake sheet topped with fresh figs. It has a smooth and sweet taste that blends well with the bitter taste of mugwort.
