Everyday moments recorded at the end of December 2025

December, the very last month of 2025

December, the very last month of 2025.

For me, December is a month filled with my favorite things like Christmas and anniversaries.

However, on the flip side, it might be the most unstable time due to the nature of my job.

Nonetheless, here are my fleeting records of December.

A small moment after work

One day, I went to Starfield, though I can't remember what I was there to buy. As usual, I found myself wandering around Goyang Spil after work. Suddenly, I saw a new item: 'Choco Fondant Yogurt Rice Cake.' I was thrilled!

But the price was outrageous...

I decided to buy it for Dongdong, who loves it, and hurried home.

Quiet winter day scenes captured in early December

Early December days

On the first day of December, I indulged in some delicious food. On my way to work, I spotted Park Bo-gum, which made me laugh.

Visiting my older sister, we enjoyed some fried peppers together. The weather was bad that day, and the fried peppers were soggy, but I still found them delicious!

As December rolled in, YouTube Music provided me with a year-end summary. I am a fan of IU, but I didn't realize I listened to so much music. My top three favorite artists are IU, Desik, and Davichi.

Snowy days and quiet thoughts

One Thursday in December, I planned to walk to the library, knowing that the first snow was coming. I bundled up and spent about two hours reading before heading home.

To my surprise, there was quite a lot of snow falling, and I felt a little anxious about having to go to work the next day.

Eventually, I decided to take the bus to work since my workplace is in a residential area and snow removal might not be adequate. It was my first winter at this job, and I was glad I didn't drive.

Ending the year

Before my trip to Jeju, I made sure to take a few photos to commemorate the occasion. I love taking pictures of beautiful sunsets, especially near the lake park.

As December came to a close, I celebrated my anniversary with my boyfriend at a buffet in Paju. We also planned a trip to Jeju, making it a sweet ending to the month.

Reflecting on December, it felt like I just enjoyed the Christmas trees and the festivities. As 2025 was a year of rest and sweetness for me, I found it hard to let go. Now, as I write this, it's already 2026.

Thoughts moving into 2026

Turning 30, I didn't feel much about aging, but now that I'm in my mid-30s, I suddenly feel anxious about it. Yet, with every year, new emotions and thoughts arise.

Let's focus on the positive. I hope 2026 will be a year where I can put my plans into action. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
