Panier des Mignons: Instagram-Worthy Desserts and Bear Cakes in Apgujeong
Finally visited Panier des Mignons, the Apgujeong cafe I'd only seen on Instagram! This trendy spot is filled with Instagrammable photo zones.
I arrived right when they opened to make sure I had plenty of time to take photos in all the amazing photo spots!
So excited!
Even though it was opening time, there was already a line of people, including some foreign tourists like me, choosing bread and paying. So, I quickly went upstairs to grab a seat first.
Cute bear bread, bunny bread, and ribbon bread, wait for me!
I headed straight to the rooftop, Panier des Mignons' signature photo zone!
I've definitely seen this spot on Instagram!
Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy that day. I was a little sad I couldn't get photos with a bright blue sky, but it was still so pretty.
I took some photos before it got too crowded. The black ribbon on my outfit goes perfectly with my new long boots!
Now that rooftop terrace season is here, I bet it's a fierce competition to get a spot up here during weekend peak hours.
After checking out the rooftop, I went down to the 3rd floor to find a seat and pick out some bread. Their ribbon bread and cute bear bread/cakes are really popular.
Turtle bread
The bear bread is so cute! They come in different flavors like chocolate and cheese.
The bear cheesecake in the showcase seemed to be calling out to me! Eat me!
They have so many kinds of cheesecake. It's like they prepared every flavor you could possibly like!
The ribbon bread is definitely the most popular item at Panier des Mignons.
The official name is Cream Ribbon Croissant.
Even though it was opening time, some spots were already taken. They also offer takeout, so most of the customers that morning were foreigners, some eating there and others taking boxes to go.
I was so happy just looking at all the pretty and cute bread.
The bear bread is just too cute.

I chose a selection of cute breads. The bear bread looks so happy waiting for my drink.
The 2nd floor space.
The high ceilings and open space in the middle create an airy and exotic interior. Everywhere you look is an Instagrammable photo zone.
I like the 3rd floor the best. The natural lighting is great and creates a soft, bright look, which makes the photos of the bear bread and ribbon croissant come out beautifully.
If you like taking pictures, be sure to visit during off-peak hours in the morning to take all the photos you want. The rooftop photo zone at this Apgujeong cafe is the most famous, but almost every space here is a photo zone overflowing with vibes.

The pastry is filled with Earl Grey cream.
Bear bread, crunch! The inside is filled with a rich, dense cream, similar to cheese cream. Recommended if you like cream bread.
I chose the green tea flavor. The cheesecake is coated in a white chocolate base.
The green tea flavor wasn't very strong. Next time, I want to try the chocolate or original cheesecake.
The cheesecakes are so cute that many people order them for takeout.
The ice cream is cool and sweet. I chose the pistachio flavor. The combination of my current obsession, pistachio, and vanilla is perfect!
Since they have ice cream on the menu, this Apgujeong cafe is also a good place to visit with children.
Each space has different table and chair heights and styles. I ate for a bit, then moved to a spot with more comfortable chairs. This area has warm indoor lighting rather than natural light.
You can also get great photos near the open space in the center. I wish I had worn a maxi dress! I'll have to wear one next time I visit.

On weekday mornings, there are often more foreign tourists than Koreans, showing just how popular this place has become. I had seen photos on Instagram and always wanted to visit, and I finally did! Tears of joy!
The cakes and breads are diverse, and the shapes are pretty and cute, making this Apgujeong cafe a great place to take beautiful dessert photos in a stylish setting.
It's close to Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 5, but since the escalator is at Exit 6, I recommend using Exit 6. :)
