Lulu Bagel: A Cozy Bagel Cafe Near Songpanaru Station, Jamsil

I've been obsessed with chewy bagels lately,
and while searching, I discovered
Lulu Bagel near Songpanaru Station.
The mention of baking with a oak wood-fired oven
piqued my curiosity, so I visited immediately!

Lulu Bagel is very close to
Songpanaru Station on Line 9.
It's located just one block off the main street,
so parking was temporarily available in front of the building.
Also, compared to the bustling cafes in Songnidan-gil,
it was a much calmer and quieter cafe.
Quiet Cafe Atmosphere in Jamsil
It's quite large, using both the
1st and 2nd floors,
making it great for visiting with a group or alone.
I was just going to get takeout
from Lulu Bagel that day,
but thanks to the cafe's atmosphere,
I ended up spending some leisurely time there.
The first floor is in harmony with plants like this,
which was refreshing to the eyes.
Climbing up the vintage stairs,
the second floor felt like visiting at a different time,
with a cozy and warm feeling before sunset.
Also, since the seats are spaced quite far apart,
there were a few people studying in the quiet cafe atmosphere.
The exposed brick interior here is also pretty, right?!

Since they are baked in a oak wood-fired oven early in the morning,
some bagels were sold out when I visited after lunchtime.
It seemed like they were baking again by time,
so, please check the time to go.
What to choose...
The bagels all looked so delicious that
I really struggled to decide!
For people like me,
there was a BEST bagel recommendation.
After carefully choosing a bagel,
there were so many kinds of cream cheese this time;;;
Kya...it's a happy dilemma, but
it's too hard for someone with decision-making difficulties..ˋ( ° ▽、° )
So, the owner kindly provided
no-brainer combinations like this,
so refer to them and choose!
They also have bagel sandwiches,
and the reviews for these meal sandwiches were all rave reviews.

Since figs are in season,
I ordered a fig combination.
A neat bagel set! Hehe
Even if you spread a lot on one bagel,
there was plenty of cream cheese,
and I later realized that they come in 2 sizes.
L size ₩4,500
S size ₩2,000
I ordered the large size,
which was enough to spread on 2 bagels.
The fig topping on top was also delicious.
An iced Americano is ₩3,500,
which is hard to find at this price these days,
and they were using Fritz coffee beans.
Personally, Fritz coffee beans
are on the darker side,
so I diluted the Americano and drank it slowly.
The bagel was chewy and savory,
making me want to eat it more and more.
It was a quiet and relaxing time alone for the first time in a while.
There was such a variety of handmade cream cheeses,
and it was fun to combine them with the
chewy oak wood-fired bagel at Lulu Bagel.
For days when you want to have a simple lunch,
or days when you want to spend time alone,
it was a great quiet cafe near Jamsil to visit.
