I'm excited to introduce a cafe that a friend raved about after visiting. Apparently, they had a great girls' talk there, and the photos show a spacious yet cozy interior, along with a charming terrace.
Jeongwol Cafe's signature menu item is the 'Black Sesame Nest Latte,'
Since our brand name, 'Doongji' (둥지), also means 'nest,' I felt a strange connection and curiosity.
Location & Directions
Located near Shin-Nonhyeon Station (Exit 6), you'll easily spot the inviting terrace. The atmosphere is noticeable from afar.

Parking
It's best to use public parking. The Yeoksam Culture Park Public Parking Lot No. 2 is conveniently close.

The entrance welcomes you with a warm garden vibe. It's a space that makes you feel good as soon as you step inside! ✨
Every corner is a photo zone, so you can capture amazing pictures, especially on sunny days. The lush green atmosphere creates a relaxing experience as if you're in a forest.
It's amazing to find such a tranquil cafe in the heart of Gangnam. The cozy atmosphere from the entrance instantly puts you in a good mood.
There are plenty of terrace seats, perfect for enjoying good weather! It's especially great for conversations.
Upon entering, the warm wooden furniture and scattered plants create a cozy and comfortable interior. The ambiance is spot-on. :)
The interior is more spacious than expected, but it doesn't feel crowded; it's very cozy. There's a variety of seating options, making it suitable for gatherings with friends or group visits!
Also, there are outlets available for those who want to study or work.
It almost feels like a hallway in a school. ㅎㅎ
Each room has a different mood, making it fun to choose where to sit, and it's great for conversations. It's also suitable for light meetings or special occasions like first dates!
The weather was great that day, and I really wanted a terrace seat. If it's not too hot or cold, it's a great place to enjoy the atmosphere.
The background is beautiful, so you'll get great photos no matter where you shoot!
Before ordering, I took a look at the desserts.
They offer a variety of homemade desserts.
They sell pastries with jam, croissants, and sliced cakes, so it's good to order when you're feeling bored.
The prices are a bit high, but considering the comfortable seating and the atmosphere that encourages you to stay longer, it's understandable. Above all, the lattes are plated so beautifully, like works of art, making it worth it.
We ordered an Iced Americano, Matcha Einspanner, and Black Sesame Nest Latte for drinks, along with a Blueberry Pie Pastry for dessert.
☕ The Iced Americano had a slightly nutty, roasted rice flavor rather than the usual bitterness, making it much smoother to drink.
???? The Matcha Einspanner was sweetened by the rich matcha chocolate on top, and the red strawberry powder sprinkled in the middle went surprisingly well, creating a harmonious flavor. The cream was also soft, and as a matcha lover, I approved.
???? The Blueberry Pie Pastry tasted exactly as expected. One bite and it crumbles crisply, spreading the blueberry jam, which goes well with the drinks and is perfect for when you're feeling bored.
????????The highlight: Black Sesame Nest Latte!
This was the menu item I was most looking forward to, and as soon as I received it, I understood why it's the signature drink. The black sesame cream on top, with small, round toppings resembling fish roe, looked like birds nesting with their eggs.
You can stir and scoop it with a spoon; the savory black sesame and chocolate, resembling straw, add sweetness, making it a perfect combination of savory and sweet. It's a menu item that's both fun to look at and fun to eat, so be sure to try it.
If you are looking for a cafe with a good atmosphere in Gangnam, I recommend you visit it at least once!
The comfortable and relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to chat with friends, and the different atmospheres in each room make it perfect for studying or spending time alone. Above all, the cozy and comfortable atmosphere makes it a great place for a blind date. Recommended????????
