Hotel Sand: A Must-Visit Cafe in Jeju with Stunning Hyeopjae Beach Views

Jeju Cafe Recommendation: Hotel Sand

I highly recommend Hotel Sand as a cafe in Hallim and Hyeopjae, Jeju.
It's one of my absolute favorite cafes in Jeju, along with Haejigae. I visit these two every time I travel to Jeju.
This time, I'm introducing Hotel Sand, a Jeju cafe located right in front of Hyeopjae Beach, where you can enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery.

There's a parking lot across from the Hotel Sand building, so you can park and easily find the cafe right across the street.
As a bread lover, I always check out the bakery selection before even looking at the cafe's interior.
There's a separate stomach for rice and a separate one for bread! :)
They had a variety of breads, including Walnut & Pecan Pie, Jeju Mango Tart, Hallabong Bread, Pecan Bread, Volcanic Island, Fresh Fruit Tartine, Lemon Madeleines, and Crungji. Everything looked so delicious, it was hard to choose!
A bread lover's happy dilemma!

They also had Salt Bread, Basil Shrimp Focaccia, Bacon Potato Focaccia, Croissants, and more.
When choosing a cafe, I always look for one with a wide selection of breads. Hotel Sand in Jeju has a great variety of breads and tarts, which I think bread lovers will appreciate :)
Hotel Sand's signature drinks are the Butterscotch Cream Latte and Sand Mill.
They also offer a variety of other drinks, including coffee, lattes, ades, smoothies, teas, and juices. An iced Americano was 6,800 won :)
Hotel Sand's outdoor area is much prettier and more unique than the indoor area, so there weren't many people inside.
I visited twice in the early summer when it was really hot, and both times I sat outside. Even though it was hot, the amazing view was worth it... I couldn't resist sitting outside :)

If you prefer to sit inside, you can still enjoy the Hyeopjae Beach view while enjoying the cool air conditioning by sitting near the outdoor area. I highly recommend choosing a seat close to the outdoor tables!
The view at Hotel Sand is truly amazing and artistic, especially the Hyeopjae Beach view.
Being right in front of Hyeopjae Beach, you can not only enjoy the beach view but also easily take a walk on the beach while enjoying your coffee. It's a great place to visit in the summer!
The outdoor seating can get really hot in the summer, but the view is so stunning that it's hard to believe you're still in Korea. It feels like you're abroad!

When I posted pictures of Hotel Sand on social media, my friends said it looked like I was on vacation abroad and complimented the beautiful scenery!
Even though the air is hot, the tables have rattan parasols that provide shade, but it's still very hot. Keep that in mind when choosing an outdoor seat.
I visited in the summer when it was very hot, but I think it would be great to visit in the spring or fall and sit outside, enjoy the gentle breeze, and relax while taking in the beach view.
I've only visited in the summer, but I'd like to visit in the spring or fall next time. I'd also like to visit in the evening or late at night.
Hotel Sand: A Jeju Hyeopjae Cafe Recommendation
I wondered why the cafe was called Hotel Sand, but apparently, the first floor is the cafe and the second floor is a lodging. I searched for information about the lodging, but I couldn't find anything?!

This was during my first visit! The bread and coffee were both delicious at Hotel Sand.
This was during my second visit. It was even better because I visited with a great person! Hotel Sand.
The coffee was good, but the croissants were amazing! They were huge and perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The Jeju Hyeopjae Beach view and the beautiful interior made it feel like I was abroad. It was a relaxing experience just sitting there. I highly recommend Hotel Sand as a Jeju cafe!
