Exploring Gelati Gelati in Itaewon

Hello, this is Taltal!
Today, I want to share my experience at Gelati Gelati, a famous gelato spot in Itaewon!
Gelati Gelati has several locations, but I decided to visit the Itaewon branch this time.
Here are their business hours:
Weekdays: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Weekends: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM
It's easy to find; just exit from Itaewon Station Exit 1 and walk straight into the alley!
The store is spacious, so you can comfortably stay longer than you might expect.
When I visited on a weekday, there were fewer people inside.
They have a friendly sign displaying their business hours!
Gelati Gelati has been around since 2016, and it has already been over 10 years!
In addition to gelato, they also sell drinks like honey latte and fresh lemon sorbet aid.
If you're interested in trying other beverages along with gelato, keep this in mind.
Here are the prices at Gelati Gelati:
Cone/Cup (2 flavors): 5,700 KRW
Cone (3 flavors): 7,500 KRW
Cup (3 flavors): 9,500 KRW
You can also use a takeout box for packing.
If you want to take some home or give it as a gift, you can order it in a takeout box.
There are so many tempting flavors at Gelati Gelati!
With four flavors to choose from, you need to make a careful selection:
Pistachio / Stracciatella
Greek Yogurt / Citrus Sorbet
We made our choices!
They also recommend the rice from Icheon and vanilla bean, which I want to try on my next visit.
Gelati Gelati uses a sealed refrigerator, which feels cleaner and better managed.
In the past, many gelato shops had open displays, but nowadays, more places focus on cleanliness.
Since it was cold outside, we decided to enjoy our gelato inside the shop.
There were quite a few people eating inside, and the seating options included both bar and table areas, making it convenient.
Ta-da! Our gelato has arrived.
We chose refreshing citrus sorbet and Greek yogurt, along with sweet pistachio and stracciatella.
They even added rich chocolate at the bottom of the cone.
The melted chocolate was placed at the bottom, and they asked if we wanted it first.
It stayed warm until we finished the ice cream!
We took several beautiful photos while enjoying our treat.
It’s rare to find a place that does pistachio gelato well, but this one truly excels!
You can really taste the quality ingredients!
The stracciatella was like cookies and cream, with soft cookie pieces.
The Greek yogurt and citrus sorbet were sweet and tangy.
With such a delightful mix, we could enjoy these four flavors without getting bored.
When served in a cone, they initially don’t provide a spoon, but politely asking for one worked out.
Each person must order at least one item, so I recommend ordering two flavors for two people to try four different gelato flavors.
Above the store, there were cones stacked like a decorative object, which I thought matched the gelato shop perfectly.
Even in the cold winter, it was wonderful to enjoy warm gelato at Gelati Gelati in Itaewon!
I would love to visit again.
