Visiting Cafe Du Daet at Yeoksam Station
Located at Yeoksam Station,
we visited Cafe Du Daet, which sells Dubai chewy cookies starting from 8 AM.
When we visited in the morning, there was enough stock, and since they are 100% handmade, the price was 6,800 won at that time, but I heard it has now increased to 7,800 won.
Next to us, there were already packages of chewy cookies piled up, possibly from Naver orders.
It seemed like they might sell out quickly.
At Cafe Du Daet, you can buy up to 5 cookies on-site, but they usually sell out around noon!
You can order up to 2 cookies through Naver, and they are selling a limited quantity of 100!
Phone and text reservations are not possible.
Ingredients and First Impressions
The pistachio paste is made from shelled pistachios,
using Belgian white chocolate and French Valrhona cocoa powder!
I trust the quality of the ingredients.
The size was slightly larger than the usual chewy cookies,
and the aroma of the cocoa powder was incredible.
I absolutely love the scent of Valrhona chocolate!
Taste Review
Out of the 5-6 chewy cookies I have tried, I can confidently say that Cafe Du Daet is number one!

The kadaif was crispy yet moist,
and the outer layer was incredibly soft and chewy.
If you look at the cross-section, you can see the pistachios inside.
So nutty and delicious!
Why It Stands Out
The Valrhona cocoa powder on the outside is top-notch.
While others use regular cocoa powder, this one has a luxurious taste!
Unlike other chewy cookies,
the pistachio flavor was strong and delightful.
Overall, this chewy cookie is not overly sweet and incredibly tasty.
Final Thoughts
I heard the price has gone up to 7,800 won,
but if I were rich, I would eat them every day!
If you love nutty and slightly bitter flavors, I highly recommend it!
