Discovering Artisse Cafe at Olympic Park

Hello!
When I choose a cafe, I put a lot of thought into it.
First, it shouldn't be too noisy, and the coffee and desserts should be above average.
The height of the chairs and tables should be suitable for resting my arms, and since I mainly work on my iPad, I tend to avoid overly private cafes.
Natural light is also important for me (I dislike underground cafes), and I wonder if there are other cafe nomads like me.
Whenever I find myself in such dilemmas, I often visit Artisse at Olympic Park.
Artisse Olympic Park
1st Floor, Geumbok Building, 45-2 Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul
Weekdays: 07:00 - 22:30
Weekends: 08:00 - 22:30
Artisse Olympic Park is located right between Exit 2 of Mongchontoseong Station and Exit 1 of Hanseong Baekje Station!
The walking path towards Olympic Park is famous for its ginkgo tree-lined street, and Artisse is conveniently situated right across from it, offering beautiful views out the window.
I can't wait to see it covered in snow!
Here’s the inside of Artisse Olympic Park!
There are actually more seating areas like the ones in the photo, but I visited around lunchtime when it was quite busy, so I couldn't take more pictures.
As you can see, the cafe is decorated for Christmas! The tree is so beautiful.
But the most important thing is the desserts.
Artisse's Christmas cakes are out, and of course, winter means strawberries... There are so many delicious-looking strawberry cakes available!
Strawberry Velvet Cake: 54,000 KRW
Strawberry Chocolat Cake: 56,000 KRW
Happy Christmas Bear: 59,000 KRW
Slice Cakes: 9,800 KRW - 14,000 KRW
If you've tried Artisse cakes, you know... I confidently say it's the best cream cake among commercially available options.
The price might be a bit high, but these days, custom-made cakes start at around 50,000 KRW, right?
So I recommend Artisse as a reliable choice, even if it costs a little more.
Not only cakes, but they also have new bread items!
Millieang Pain Au Lait: 6,200 KRW
Millieang Pain Perdu: 5,600 KRW
Millieang means 'countless' in French.
I had the Pain Perdu and it was so delicious that I rushed to take a photo when a fresh batch came in.
The Croissant is sweet, but the Pain Perdu is truly exceptional (make sure to request it warm).
It's a French toast with a strong cinnamon flavor, which I absolutely loved! If you enjoy cinnamon, you must try it!
Artisse Olympic Park also offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, and breads that are a feast for the eyes.
As someone who has visited Artisse at least ten times, here are my recommended breads:
Double Cheese Maldon Salt Bread: 4,600 KRW (best enjoyed warm)
Croque Monsieur: 4,600 KRW (best enjoyed warm)
Cheese Ball: 5,500 KRW
Chorizo & Egg Croissant: 5,500 KRW
Yes, I love dairy products...
But everything from basic bread to sandwiches at Artisse is delicious! (Salads are a bit pricey, though.)
You won’t regret visiting and picking out whatever catches your eye.
Another reason I love Artisse is the variety of small gift items they have!
(Especially the Pecan Dark Chocolate Toppers, 7,500/12,000 KRW... they're so good, eat them yourself instead of gifting!)
The packaging is lovely, and I often use them for last-minute gifts. The recipients are always delighted!
If you're visiting Olympic Park or Mongchontoseong/Hanseong Baekje, I highly recommend Artisse Olympic Park for its serene atmosphere and delicious bread.
Next time, I’ll share more of my favorite cafes!
