Delicious Lunch Spots in Seongsu

Hello! Isn't the weather just wonderful these days?
Because of this, I've been dining out for lunch quite often.
It's been 4 months since I started working in Seongsu, and I'd like to share my experiences at some great lunch spots!
First up is a kaisendon place called Gorogoro.
It captures the essence of Japanese style perfectly.
I visited based on a colleague's recommendation.
Although it required a bit of walking from Seongsu Station, I was satisfied with the ambiance and the taste!
It felt like I was on a trip to Japan.
The unique store interior was a highlight.
I had the crab kaisendon, and they provided plenty of seaweed, making it quite filling!
While the price is on the higher side for a working lunch, it's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal occasionally.
The kaisendon starts at over 20,000 won, but it was worth it for the Japanese vibe!
Next, I visited Menya Matsuri, a ramen spot I've been to several times!
The mazemen was delicious, and the broth ramen and dumplings were also great!
Whenever I crave ramen, I often find myself at Menya Matsuri, and I think I've been there about 3-4 times already!
Recently, I went alone, and it was a comfortable place for solo dining!
Then there's Hats Bakery, famous for its butter rice cake sandwiches.
Since butter rice cakes became popular, I had been eager to visit Hats Bakery!
A colleague mentioned that this is the place for butter rice cakes in Seongsu, so I saved it and visited recently!
The butter rice cakes were larger than those from other places, but they only allow purchases in pairs!
I got two for myself.
Aside from butter rice cakes, I also enjoyed tarts, pies, brownies, and red bean bread!
They had a variety of mammoth bread, but I wasn't particularly drawn to it.
I also heard that Hats Bakery is known for its sandwich bagels, especially with strawberries.
I chose the yogurt cheesecake sandwich bagel!
There were many types of baked goods, including salt bread and green onion cream cheese bagels!
Before I knew it, my total came to over 30,000 won!
Hats Bakery even provided a cooling bag for my order, which was convenient!
The butter rice cake was rich in butter flavor and delicious!
I had it the next day, and it was still tasty!
The sandwich bagel was a bit too rich for my taste, so I might skip it next time.
Next time I visit Hats Bakery, I think I'll just stock up on the butter rice cakes.
This concludes my sharing of lunch spots and desserts in Seongsu.
I’ll be sure to gather more experiences and share them in future posts!
Have a great day, everyone!
