A Visit to the Soufflé Café in Kondae
I visited the Kondae Station with a friend.
Here's my review of the soufflé café, Porru!
I often hang out around Kondae, and this time I found a great soufflé place!
Location: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor rooftop, 137-1 Neungdong-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul
Operating hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Last order for soufflé at 9:00 PM)
The entrance is vibrant and full of charm!
My friend already knew about this soufflé spot!
Since Porru is a pet-friendly café, many people visit with their dogs.
The café has a lovely atmosphere, and all the menu items looked delicious, making it hard to choose!
They also serve brunch, and I heard they have bingsu (shaved ice) in the summer, so I plan to visit again!
I was particularly tempted by the matcha cream soufflé and the strawberry soufflé.
On this day, we ordered the strawberry soufflé and grapefruit ade.
The soufflé takes a bit of time to prepare, but the wait is worth it!
The staff kindly informed us about the waiting time.
The café is perfect for Instagram photos, with a warm ambiance and beautiful lighting!
The space is divided from the first to the third floor, and the third floor and rooftop are pet-friendly, making it a popular spot on nice days.
The rooftop area allows you to enjoy desserts leisurely in the heart of Kondae.
The cozy interior and well-spaced tables were great for chatting with my friend.
The strawberry soufflé arrived, and it looked stunning!
It was topped with plenty of strawberry cream, and the fresh strawberries were delightful.
The soufflé was incredibly fluffy and lived up to its name!
Just a gentle press with a fork made it sink beautifully.
It melted in my mouth!
The grapefruit ade was refreshingly tangy.
The sweetness of the soufflé paired perfectly with the drink.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the clean flavors.
The strawberry cream was not overly sweet, complementing the soufflé well, and the fresh strawberries added a nice freshness.
Porru is a great place for those looking for a pet-friendly café and a delicious soufflé in Kondae!
Next time, I want to enjoy the rooftop seating on a nice day!
