Brunch Bar Hemian in Haebangchon
Today, I want to share my experience visiting Hemian, a brunch bar located right in Haebangchon.
After moving to the neighborhood, my housemate and I kept saying we would visit, and after four months, we finally made it.
Location & Access
Hemian is located at 250 Noksapyeong-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (Room 103).
You can reach it easily by exiting Noksapyeong Station Exit 2 and walking uphill, or by taking buses 143, 401, or 406, which stop right in front.
Interior & Atmosphere
Inside, the brunch bar features counter seating and an accessible restroom.
The interior is filled with small decorative details that make it fun to look around, giving the space a warm and friendly atmosphere.
While chatting and laughing, we waited for our food, already enjoying the mood.
Menu Highlights
Hemian offers a diverse brunch menu, and you can even find alcoholic beverages.
There is also a receipt review event where you can receive a free Americano by checking your order on paper and submitting it.
Spinach Cheese Bread
The Spinach Cheese Bread comes with crispy dough coated in a sweet honey-like glaze, mozzarella cheese, spinach, and plenty of marinated tomatoes.
While it may not be visually flashy, the taste is outstanding and deeply satisfying.
Pto-Dak (Signature Dish)
The Pto-Dak is Hemian’s signature dish, consisting of French toast topped with basil-marinated chicken legs.
The French toast itself was excellent, although slightly burnt on the bottom. Personally, I felt the chicken paired better with the spinach bread, but overall the dish was still very enjoyable.
Final Thoughts
Despite small personal preferences, everything was so tasty that we finished every bite.
If you’re visiting Haebangchon or living nearby, Hemian is a brunch spot worth stopping by for a relaxed and satisfying meal.
