Curiosity About 123 Gelato

 

Since there was only one location in Ichon,

I have always been curious about 123 Gelato.

After Ichon, they opened a branch in Hannam-dong,

and now there is also a Jongno branch.

I heard they will soon open a fourth location, but where will it be?

Location and Space

It's located between Jongno 3-ga and Anguk Station,

inside a hotel that made me wonder, 'Is there really a place like this here?'

They offer a total of 12 flavors,

and you can enjoy them in a cone or a cup.

I heard the cones are the specialty here,

but since only one flavor is available for cones, I opted for a cup.

Inside, there's another restaurant called Cosmos,

which was closed, allowing me to enjoy my gelato inside.

Cosmos seems to be quite a popular spot as well.

Flavors and Choices

Recently, I saw on 123 Gelato's Instagram that they were making a caramel flavor.

The Ichon location had flavors up to number 12.

Dubai flavor costs an extra 2,000 won, but I couldn't resist.

Of course, my sister treated me. 😊

Tasting Notes

The Dubai chocolate is not what I expected. 😊

I would have preferred if it had some texture or coating,

but it tasted more like pistachio with a soggy kadaif flavor.

Surprisingly, the Jeju matcha was much more delicious.

Overall, my expectations for 123 Gelato were perhaps too high.
