Sometimes, I feel the urge to take an impulsive day off.
After finishing my work in the morning, I suddenly craved something sweet and decided to visit a famous cake shop near Apgujeong Rodeo.
Even though I usually head straight home, that day I wanted cake badly enough to go out of my way for takeout.
Why I Returned to Tkii
Tkii is located near Dosan Park and is especially known for its Basque cheesecake.
This visit marked my second time here, as I still remembered how good both the chocolate and original flavors were from my first visit.
That memory alone was enough to pull me back in without much hesitation.

Tkii offers a variety of flavors, but this time I chose the original Basque cheesecake.
The chocolate and original flavors left a strong impression during my previous visit, so I decided to revisit the classic.
The matcha flavor is limited to one slice per group, which only made me more curious to try it next time.

When I asked how long the order would take, the staff prepared the takeout almost immediately.
They even included an ice pack in the box, which was a thoughtful touch to keep the cake fresh on the way home.

The outer layer had the signature Basque cheesecake texture, while the inside was filled with rich vanilla bean cream.

So far, I have tried only the chocolate and original flavors.
The original Basque cheesecake once again proved why Tkii is so popular.
Next time, I am definitely planning to try the matcha flavor to complete the experience.
