A Sweet Escape at Nuvola in Gangnam

After enjoying a drink at Gangnam Station, I walked a long way to satisfy my craving for gelato at Nuvola!
Nuvola Opening Hours
Every day from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Last order at 9:50 PM
I just randomly found a gelato shop, and it turned out there was a branch in Yangjae as well.
However, it was quite difficult to find this place! I almost turned back thinking it was closed due to the darkness!
Make sure to come right up to the door and peek inside!
(I was really wondering if it was open even when I was right at the door! Haha)
Once inside, you’ll find business cards, gelato menus, coffee options, and packaging information.
Packaging options include a small box with three flavors for 22,000 KRW and a medium size with four flavors for 31,000 KRW (additional charges may apply depending on flavors).
There is also a kiosk for placing orders.
The interior has a dim and calm atmosphere!
Even in the small space, you can tell a lot of thought went into the decor.
These bonsai trees are quite expensive!
And that lighting is pricey too!
There aren't many seats available.
It feels like a cozy space where neighborhood ladies can gather and chat after work.
We also preferred a quiet atmosphere, and it was perfect for us.
Even the floor design is impressive!
Now, on to the menu we ordered!
I can’t remember the exact prices, but we each chose two flavors at around 7,000 to 8,000 KRW each.
Apple Mango and Earl Grey
Earl Grey is highly recommended! Apple Mango is decent.
Pistachio and Strawberry
Pistachio is a must-try!!! Strawberry is just okay.
The pistachio flavor really stands out.
Green Tea and Chocolate
Both flavors are rich and delicious.
The atmosphere of this gelato shop was refreshing and unique.
Finding it was not easy, but that made it feel more like a hidden gem.
If you want a simple finish after your time at Gangnam Station, I recommend Nuvola!
