A Relaxing Time at Cafe Sunri in Aewol

I recently spent a peaceful healing time at Cafe Sunri in Aewol.
This cozy brunch and dessert cafe is located at 1188-1 Gonaeri, Aewol-eup, Jeju City, in a quiet and warm neighborhood.
While Aewol has many delightful dessert cafes, each one has its own unique character.
Sometimes, I crave a very relaxing and leisurely time, and I think Cafe Sunri is just the place for that.
Here’s the exterior of Cafe Sunri.
With its beautiful stone walls typical of Jeju and a striking red roof, Cafe Sunri stands out.
Beyond the stone wall, you can see a lovely yard with outdoor tables.
Parking is convenient as you can park along the stone wall.
As you enter through the wooden door, there’s a notice about a dog named Maru.
He might bark loudly, but he’s not threatening at all; he’s just a friendly little coward who wags his tail when you get close.
Many dogs bark at strangers, but if you look closely, you’ll see Maru wagging his tail while barking.
Ta-da! This is Maru.
Isn’t he innocent, cute, and adorable?
His ears are already covered, and his tail wags happily.
You can tell right away that he’s not a threat.
As the cafe’s mascot, all you need to do is show him some love.
Inside Cafe Sunri, there’s also a flea market operating within the stone wall.
In this quaint space, various clothes and miscellaneous items are for sale.
It was great to explore and even purchase some interesting items.
The owner has a keen eye for fashion.
The indoor atmosphere of Cafe Sunri is pleasant and cozy.
With a banner displaying the brunch menu, it’s easy to see what’s available.
The different table setups in each space create a warm ambiance.
The view of the garden from inside is also fantastic!
Cafe Sunri offers a variety of drinks, brunch options, and baked goods.
Seeing many visitors enjoying brunch made me curious about the menu.
All the options looked delicious, making it hard to choose, but I eventually settled on my favorites.
While waiting, I got to see Maru, explore the tranquil garden, and check out the flea market before my order arrived.
Here are the chicken tender sandwich and carrot rafa sandwich from Cafe Sunri, along with a beautifully colored drink.
Just looking at that thick sandwich makes me feel full already!
The combination of fresh vegetables and chicken tender created a mouthwatering flavor.
And the carrot rafa sandwich is simply delightful!
As someone who loves carrot rafa, I can say the texture and aroma were top-notch.
The neat tray presented with the pretty plate was also a nice touch.
Next up is the croffle platter and cafe latte from Cafe Sunri.
Four large croffles surrounded by various spreads are truly impressive.
It’s rare to find a place that serves such a diverse selection.
Receiving this platter was a delightful surprise!
The crispy and moist croffles paired with the spreads and latte made for a perfect healing time.
With the adorable angel Maru and the friendly owner welcoming you, how about spending some healing time at Cafe Sunri?
