A Memorable Trip to Jeju Island

I went on a trip to Jeju Island with my dear friend Nayeon, whom I met during a temple stay over the Chuseok holiday.
We booked a place called Hamdeok House, but since they said they couldn't accommodate a two-person room for consecutive nights, we reserved a family room at the nearby Anyeong Hamdeok Pension at the original price.
We only attended the barbecue party at Hamdeok House and enjoyed a luxurious stay at the pension!
I was on a long business trip in Busan, so I departed separately from Gimhae Airport.
When I got off the plane, the wind was so strong that I wondered how we had landed.
Upon arriving at Hamdeok House, I was warmly welcomed by the adorable Hamdeok.
The barbecue party started at 6 PM, and we were served fresh fish and chicken gizzards right away.
As we were eating, the owner called us outside to enjoy grilled black pork, feeding us piece by piece. At first, it was a bit embarrassing, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating like a baby bird.
As it got colder, we were brought back inside. We repeated this a couple of times and around 8 PM, it was time for a bonfire and marshmallow roasting.
The bonfire was a bit painful due to the smoke, but the roasted marshmallows were delightful.
After cleaning up and writing in the guestbook, the first day came to an end.
On the second day, the weather was absolutely beautiful. I finally felt like I was in Jeju.
I bought a book at a nearby bookstore and enjoyed some delicious bread while taking in the stunning views.
After chatting for a while, we headed to Sehwa.
I love accessory shops, and I was so glad that Nayeon does too! We explored all the accessory shops in Sehwa.
We went to a pretty café to read, but ended up doing a bit of reading and checking our fortune with GPT.
While wandering around the shops, Nayeon mentioned that getting lost makes a trip more enjoyable, which resonated with my travel style. I felt lucky to have found such a great travel mate.
Walking aimlessly led us to peaceful scenes, and it was thrilling to stroll leisurely while others were working.
As the sun began to set, we headed back to Hamdeok and visited a place called Sang Sang Hamdeok.
We ordered four dishes, and everything was delicious!
Later, we went to a bar called Shelter by Jeju. Although we couldn't try the raw beef dish we were looking forward to, our conversation with the owner was very enjoyable.
On our last day, we both had a lunch flight, so we woke up early to eat some meat noodles.
There was a wait, but we got seated in about ten minutes. The signatures of celebrities on the wall were more impressive than the taste of the food.
Now it was time to return to reality.
Although it was a short trip, it was truly healing. Life is about creating memories, and this trip will surely be one of them.
