A Food Blogger's Culinary Journey

Actually, I wasn't a blogger about Jindo dogs; I was a food blogger (just kidding).
I've compiled a list of must-try restaurants from across the country over the past 8 years...
If anyone wants my list of restaurants, feel free to leave a comment! Haha.
I'm more familiar with places in Gangdong like Gunja, Gwangjin, Seongsu, and Konkuk University but know nothing about Hongdae or Yeonnam-dong.
It's not that I don't want to work; I just wanted to start documenting what I've been eating!
Currently tasting food at Sangnok Art Hall...
I plan to post about it later, but in October, I had a tasting at Sangnok Art Hall with both mothers-in-law because I'm a bride-to-be.
When is the wedding anyway? I'm so tired of waiting...
The buffet at Sangnok Art Hall was surprisingly good! But I probably won't get to enjoy it during the actual ceremony.
I had Han River ramen, Ogoong gimbap (spicy gimbap), and chicken gangjeong at Ttukseom Han River Park.
When I was dating my husband, we went there often since it was close to home, but now that we've moved and don't have a car, it's hard to go.
Even though I can eat well... there was a village puppy named Sawol looking at us longingly while we ate.
I went to a friend's wedding invitation gathering at Osus in Pocheon. The pasta and steak were all delicious, but you must add the grilled napa cabbage! It was incredibly tasty.
We went to Daechang Sashimi House near Yeoksam and Seolleung for some soju. The head grilled fish was a real highlight!
It was crowded, probably because it's the season for mackerel.
We ordered tuna sashimi at home. What? You say Sawol's parents have a whole box of soju at home?
We love drinking, and it has become our favorite side dish.
While I personally think it's better to eat tuna sashimi outside where there are plenty of side dishes, we usually refrain from dining out on weekdays since our dog waits for us all day.
We went to Pipe Ground in Gwanghwamun for the wedding invitation gathering! It was so far away...
We finished everything at the KT building, and it was delicious, but honestly, the flavors are pretty predictable.
It's nice to eat something when you're in Gwanghwamun, but you don't have to go just for this taste!
They charge for pickles and something like lafe.
Ots Coffee was also in the same building, and the coffee was good with a unique table design.
After having dessert, I felt like I was in a foreign country because it was so sweet for my taste. It pairs better with coffee.
We went to Arichai near Sillim Station for another wedding invitation gathering! I had only passed through Sillim-dong, but it felt unfamiliar since it was my first time there.
The portions were huge, and everything was delicious!
It's famous for dim sum, and we ordered various kinds, all of which were amazing.
Recently, I've been into natto and made a diet-friendly meal.
Yes, that's right. I'm also a bride-to-be on a diet.
I bought discounted salmon at GS Fresh Mart near my house, marinated it in salt for 15 minutes, then in mirin for 10 minutes, made salmon sashimi, added natto, an egg yolk, seaweed, and sprouts, and mixed it all together. It was delicious!
I really want to eat a bowl of white rice with cheongukjang...
But who knows my heart as I eat natto?
I want to stop this diet.
During the diet, I couldn't resist and bought 8,000 won worth of internal organs from a sundae truck on my way home...
But meat is protein, right? It's okay, right? I comforted myself that day...
I should have eaten it with spicy chicken noodles or tteokbokki... but I couldn't go that far, so I just dipped it in red sauce and salt, which got boring quickly.
Throughout the meal, I was tempted by the thought of beer...
It's been three weeks of sobriety... it's tough.
Even while on a diet, my motto is to enjoy food, so I made Vietnamese spring rolls!
Besides that, I've made cabbage fried rice, cabbage salad pasta, and various other dishes, but I always forget to take pictures as a beginner blogger.
Today, I'm planning to make soft tofu stew and serve it with a cabbage salad topped with balsamic sauce!
I hope this painful time ends soon, and I look forward to the day when I can eat whatever I want...
