A Delightful Visit to Standard Bread Dosan

Hello, it's Chogori! π
Today, I want to share my experience after visiting Standard Bread Dosan with my friend, where we enjoyed some delicious bread.
Going on a weekday was great because it was quieter and more peaceful. I'm so satisfied that I definitely plan to return!
Let's dive into the detailed review!
Standard Bread Dosan
Open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM
The exterior of Standard Bread Dosan near Apgujeong Rodeo Station is quite impressive! It's bigger than I expected, spanning up to three floors.
The outside is beautifully designed, and I've heard that it gets quite busy with Chinese customers on weekends, likely taking lots of photos at the photo spots.
As soon as we entered, we noticed the dough-themed decor. I was tempted to touch it but managed to resist! After all, I am a sophisticated adult.
Hereβs the menu from Standard Bread Dosan. I ordered:
- Mild Long Black x2
- Salted Butter Bread x1
- Kaymak x1
Egg in Hell and French Toast also looked delicious! Next time, I definitely want to try the honey garlic butter.
The interior has a warm and stable vibe thanks to the wooden elements. You can choose your seat on the second or third floor, and thereβs an elevator available, which is nice.
Standard Bread Dosan offers a variety of bagels and spreads. I wish I could try them all!
They also have their famous breads in abundance! I was curious about the basil tomato and corn bread, but since it was my first visit, I decided to stick with the basics.
You can pick up your coffee on the second floor. Sitting down with a slice of bread sprinkled with salt made me incredibly happy!
The aroma of butter was delightful, and when I picked up the bread, I found that it was infused with melted butter. It was so delicious!
I used a knife and fork to cut it into quarters, and it was soft enough to slice easily. Can you see the texture of the bread?
I've heard that they bake fresh bread every 30 minutes, so next time, Iβll wait for the warm ones!
I also ordered the kaymak spread to enjoy with my bread. Thank you to my friend for treating me! The kaymak was surprisingly not too thick and came with honey.
The aroma was fantastic, and it was so tasty that I want to have it again soon!
Even on its own, the bread is delicious, but having it with the kaymak spread made it even better!
This concludes my review of my own purchase! π
