A Delightful Steak Experience at Texas de Brazil

Hello everyone!
I recently discovered a popular steakhouse among my friends in Seoul that is often visited for special occasions. My curiosity got the better of me, and I headed there on a weekend when I had some free time!
I initially wanted to go to the location in Goto, which is more accessible, but it was fully booked the day before. So, I visited the Apgujeong branch instead.
Since it was the end of the year, I think it was even harder to get a reservation!
Texas de Brazil Apgujeong Branch
Address: 854 Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, B1F Andaz Hotel
Opening Hours: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Break Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
The Apgujeong branch is conveniently located right in front of Apgujeong Station, in the basement of the Andaz Hotel.
I made a dinner reservation and took a leisurely stroll down Apgujeong Rodeo Street before heading to the hotel. The weather was nice that day, but in the current cold wave, walking might be quite chilly!
As dinner time approached, guests who had made reservations started to gather. When the time came, the staff checked the reservation list and guided us to our seats.
While waiting, I took a peek at the Andaz Hotel. The price for one night’s stay was surprisingly high! Being a five-star hotel right by the station certainly contributes to that.
My boss, who is from Seoul, mentioned that he often visits for family meals but hasn’t tried Texas de Brazil yet, so I sneakily recommended it to him.
Once seated, there were utensils and some sauces already prepared for us. Given its popularity, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance!
There’s a wide variety of steaks available. It’s good to decide in advance what to eat and discuss which ones to go for! On weekdays, nine types of churrasco are served, while on weekends, there are fifteen!
The self-serve bar also has various sauces and dishes that pair well with steak. The salmon is delicious, and it's perfect to grab a bit before the steak arrives!
And yes, everyone knows that the kimchi fried rice here is fantastic! It’s so good that I recommend sharing and tasting a bit of everything while saving room for the steak!
Desserts, coffee, and wine are also available, but we didn’t order any!
The kitchen is visible through a glass window, and the staff even posed for pictures when they noticed us taking photos!
After being seated, we were served mashed potatoes with texture, grilled bananas, and bread to whet our appetites! But we had to save room for the meat!
I prepared at the self-serve bar, focusing on salads, pineapple for digestion, and starting with the kimchi fried rice. It’s truly the best!
On weekends, a total of fifteen types of churrasco are provided. I can’t remember all the varieties since this is a late post, but the staff explained each type as they served it.
You can easily control your servings with the circular stickers on the table, deciding when to stop or continue eating. There’s no need to order separately; just enjoy!
In the end, I couldn’t resist the kimchi fried rice! It was that good! Texas de Brazil is a popular spot for unlimited steak, especially on weekends, so reservations fill up quickly. I was really satisfied with my meal and would love to return when I crave steak again!
I recommend making a reservation in advance, especially for anniversaries or when you want to indulge in a lot of meat!
