A Delightful Korean Traditional Meal at Taeijae in Jamsil

Traditional Korean Cuisine near Olympic Park
I went to Jamsil to meet my friends, Sunmi and Hyewon, who I've known for 30 and 25 years, respectively!
Now that we're all over forty, we decided to enjoy a refined traditional Korean meal. Haha, we feel so grown-up!
We started searching for places in Jamsil and found Taeijae, which caught our eye!
After visiting, I can say the food was neat and delicious!

The building itself has a clean and tidy feel, raising our expectations even before entering!
We found this place while searching for traditional Korean cuisine near Olympic Park, and it was perfect for family gatherings!
We had made a reservation and were seated in the first room on the first floor. It was great to have a private space for our long-awaited reunion!
Taeijae is quite popular; we arrived right at opening time, and the first floor was nearly full. They had group reservations for the second floor at noon!
The restaurant has a private room feel, suitable for groups, and the quiet atmosphere makes it perfect for bringing parents along.
The ambiance was calm and perfect for family gatherings!
We ordered the popular menu: Chamjeoun Hanjeongsik, priced at 37,000 won per person for three of us.
The meal included seasonal porridge, seaweed soup, seasonal salad, seasonal fried food, and traditional japchae.
The black sesame porridge was a warm and delightful surprise, especially on a chilly, rainy day!
We tend to eat quickly, and the food was served promptly, which was fantastic!
We started with the seasonal salad, which was perfect with yogurt dressing!
The sweet pumpkin chicken tender fritters were not only pretty but also delicious!
The japchae was perfectly seasoned, making it hard to resist!
For the beef tartare or cream salmon option, we chose the beef tartare, which was fresh and flavorful!
The boiled pork was tender and clean, served with pickled radish, making it the best way to enjoy it!
The galbi jjim (braised short ribs) was a first for me and a delightful experience!
With rich broth and plenty of ribs and radish greens, it was truly nourishing!
The food was all delicious, including the four side dishes and grilled fish, with the kimchi being particularly tasty!
Even just the pink stone pot rice and soybean soup felt like a perfect meal!
We finished with some plum tea, enjoying the great atmosphere and food quality.
Afterward, we couldn't just leave, so we went to a nearby Starbucks to chat away!
We had such a great time that we didn't take any pictures together!
