A Delightful Hanok Cafe Experience in Seochon: Naeja Sanghoe

Late posting.
After a lightning-fast family dinner at a curry restaurant, we quickly headed to Seochon and <Naeja Sanghoe>.
Naeja Sanghoe
*Business Hours*
10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
We strolled from Gyeonghuigung 2-gil to Seochon.
"This place has really good coffee and desserts!" my eldest daughter declared, leading the way.
"Can we trust you...?"
"I went here last week!"
"Okay..."
'A Hanok cafe...'
Near the cafe entrance, they were selling bags and household goods.
'They're selling somewhat odd items...'
'Even though my eldest daughter says it's good, I'm not so sure anymore...'
The space wasn't very large, but the tables and chairs were arranged with adequate spacing. (I took this picture when we were leaving, so thankfully I could capture it without any people in the shot.)
We pondered over what to drink. I opted for the safest choice, an Americano (decaf for me), while my younger daughter, who doesn't drink coffee, got a mugwort latte. The daughters took charge of ordering the desserts.
(They're the MZ generation, they know these places better~~^^;)

"Oh my goodness~~~~ It looks almost exactly like the picture!"
The <Fig Mugwort Castella> arrived, looking just like the one on the signboard at the entrance.
The visuals are on point..
Oh...my faith is being restored..
(I'm so fickle~~~)

Someone (?) who loves cheesecake ordered the <Fig Mugwort Cheesecake>.
"Wow, the plating is pretty good~~"
Mugwort-colored castella cake topped generously with mugwort cream, fresh figs, and sprinkled with pistachio powder... this thing is quite something...
It was super delicious.

The daughter who loves cheesecake ordered the mugwort cheesecake.
My eldest daughter said the dense mugwort cheesecake was good when eaten with the figs and the persimmon sauce at the bottom.
Personally, it wasn't my taste as I prefer the soft cheesecakes from Cheese Room.
(Just my personal preference, okay..)

These days, if I drink too much coffee, I can't sleep, so I ordered a decaf Americano. It was surprisingly nutty with a slight acidity, making it fresh and delicious.

Even though figs are at the end of their season, they were fresh and tasty.
Today's pick!!
We chatted away about our holiday experiences with the family, and just as we were leaving, I noticed...
'This place is a tea house~~'

I didn't look closely before, but it seems they sell various types of flower tea.
We walked along Gwanghwamun Avenue after leaving the cafe.
It was so pretty at night~~~

With gratitude once again to King Sejong, who created the twenty-eight letters out of compassion for his young people, so that they could easily communicate daily,

We strolled along the beautiful Cheonggyecheon Stream.
The breeze was cool, and the night scenery was wonderful. We walked along Cheonggyecheon for a while before heading home. We finished our holiday with a walk along Cheonggyecheon~~~~

Was that already a week ago...?
I'll work hard again, waiting for another golden holiday to come! Fighting!
