I had a bit of trouble finding the 1020 Room Cafe, and I wandered around for quite a while.
If I had known the Asoto Bakery across the street, I would have found it right away. If only I had read the Naver guide properly! Oh, me!
To be fair, I had a goal to walk at least ten thousand steps today, which made me walk more. Thanks to that, a little mishap turned into a memorable experience.
The poster on the right side of the door drew me in with its charm.
Perhaps because it's the Christmas season, the cafe was adorned with sparkling decorations everywhere.
The red ornaments hanging from the ceiling were particularly beautiful, giving the cafe an end-of-year atmosphere.
Just staying in this warm and exciting ambiance made me feel cozy.
As soon as I opened the door, I felt as if I were invited to a small European home.
The soft-toned walls, cozy white sofas, and vintage decor scattered throughout were so beautiful that they instantly captured my heart.
Every little item was so pretty that I couldn't help but wonder, 'Where did they get this from?'
This calm yet warm atmosphere made it a space I wanted to linger in.
I ordered the mammoth cheesecake and a cafe latte.
The cake was truly the epitome of value and sweetness. It was so big that it was a bit overwhelming to eat alone, so I promised myself to come back with someone to share it and chat.
The latte caught my eye with its smooth latte art, and its taste was familiar and comforting. It paired perfectly with the sweet cake.
Even the door leading outside had a vintage charm.
The light mint-colored old wooden door matched well with the floor, which had the cafe's name engraved in broken tiles, allowing me to appreciate the artistic details until the very end.
Before stepping outside, I couldn't help but turn back one more time, feeling a bit sad to leave.
It was a place I wanted to stay for a long time.
Sitting in the serene space, I wrote a prayer and a diary, slowly creating my own time.
What I loved most was that it was within walking distance from my home.
While I enjoyed the quiet time alone, I also wanted to come back with friends to share this lovely atmosphere.
Good things should be shared, and I slowly filled myself up today.
