A Cozy Autumn Cafe Experience

Last fall, I visited a cafe that has been on my mind lately.
Looking at the photos again, I thought it would be perfect to visit on a day like today.
So here I am, writing about it!
At that time, I was busy preparing for my wedding,
and I barely remember going out to have fun.
Every day off my boyfriend had was spent on wedding preparations,
but we finally found some time to eat duck at Dongnae Antan,
and while looking for a nearby cafe in Oncheoncheon, we stumbled upon Montbell Shelter.
Cafe paid parking available
Address: 46 Oncheoncheon-ro 471beon-gil (Daesung Agricultural Products)
50 minutes of parking support for orders over 15,000 won
I entered the cafe with no high expectations,
but seeing the outdoor tables in the cool autumn air,
I thought it would be nice to enjoy a coffee outside for a moment.
The menu offered a variety of options from coffee to aid and desserts,
and there were many types of baked goods inside.
With freshly baked breads on display,
I took my time deciding but eventually chose the signature Shelter Waterfall bread along with
the signature latte, Montbell Cream Latte,
and I opted for an iced Americano as usual.
I also took a look around the interior space,
which had a warm atmosphere overall.
We settled at an outdoor table on the second floor.
Since it was a weekday afternoon,
there weren't many people, allowing us to enjoy the moment more leisurely.
Before our coffee arrived, we felt pleasantly relaxed.
Our orders came out.
The Montbell Cream Latte had a soft cream topped with bread,
so I could dip the bread into the cream.
The Shelter Waterfall bread was impressive, as its name suggests;
lifting the mold covering the cream slightly caused it to flow beautifully.
After a long time out, I enjoyed taking photos for a bit
and then devoured the food.
I had said I wouldn't eat while on a diet,
but after one bite, it was so delicious that I couldn't help myself.
It felt really good to be out enjoying coffee after such a long time.
I usually prefer drinking alcohol over spending time in cafes,
but having a relaxing time like this is also nice.
The bread was so delicious that I couldn't leave without buying another one to take home.
On beautiful days like today, I find myself wanting to visit outdoor cafes like this more.
Montbell Shelter in Oncheoncheon is just the right place for such days.
Next time, I want to visit not just in autumn,
but also when the cherry blossoms bloom.
